Day 29- at our hotel

I am writing this blog after a big night and day at our location at the hotel near Victoria…

The day started a little late for me at around 8.00 am with a swim and shower and breakfast… the weather was warm with some cloud cover but temperatures in the mid twenties.

After breakfast we lazed by the beach outside our room and enjoyed the warm weather. The grandkids enjoyed the surf that was offered up and found a floating foam cover from an ice bucket to do some body surfing along the beach.

We had a snack for lunch and a couple of them local beers!!! After this it was reading and sleeping for me to while away the afternoon…. God knows how much weight I have put on in this trip!!!!

As we watched the sunset with a glass of wine we reflected on the day and readied ourselves for dinner…. The choice was clear Indian or al la carte … we chose the latter!!! The thought of a vindaloo made me feel bad!

The meal was very good and we enjoyed the company of Chris , Neat and the grandchildren…

After a lovely dinner we were done by 9.30 pm!!!
